Summary: StudyScore AI operates on a local-first privacy model. Your academic profile, target shortlists, and notes are stored on your local device. We do not sell your personal information. In-app purchases are handled directly through Google Play Billing.

StudyScore AI ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting your personal information and your privacy rights. This Privacy Policy applies to the StudyScore AI mobile application and web interface and describes our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of data.

To deliver real-time evaluations, profile snippets (such as GPA, target major, and essay drafts) are sent via encrypted HTTPS to third-party AI inference providers (such as DeepSeek and Google Gemini).

Data sent for AI processing is used solely to generate the requested analysis. Your submitted essays and Statements of Purpose are not used to train public AI foundation models without your explicit consent.

4. Data Storage & Local Retention

StudyScore AI is built on a local-first architecture. Your academic profile, university shortlists, custom notes, and transaction ledger are saved locally on your device (using browser localStorage / SQLite sandbox).

You can erase your data at any time by clearing the application data in your device settings or web browser storage. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or academic information to third-party advertisers or recruitment agencies.

5. Children's Privacy

StudyScore AI is intended for high school, college, and postgraduate students preparing for higher education. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

We use industry-standard HTTPS encryption in transit and isolated local storage sandboxing on your device to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
